- Timeless, demonstrates Babbie's unique and diverse vocal and songwriting prowess as never before. The project is an impeccable period piece that resembles the musical style of the 1940's. Not only does this classic sound take the listener back to a simpler time, the music also takes the listener up because each newly composed song is for, about, or because of Babbie's personal and intimate relationship with Christ.
- Timeless is full of songs both new and old, performed in a soulfull, classic jazz style. And can I just say what a great idea it is for Mason to take on this kind of musical persona? She was made to do this; I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.
- Full of horns, keys, cymbals, and finger snaps, Timeless is an album Mason was born to create. The real accomplishment though, is that the album was crafted in a way such that it won't alienate Mason's existing fans. It's not a complete departure in that way. More of a strong leaning. You'll still find plenty of her usual inspirational stuff; only her approach to these songs is different.
- She floats through these songs with such relaxed, vocal ease, she makes it look easy.
