Larry has been performing since the age of six, a youthful beginning which has led to a lifelong love of music. He studied music in High School, at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and at Southern Adventist University. For seven years he was a featured soloist on a weekly gospel music TV show out of Dayton, Ohio and toured nationwide with the ensemble from the show.
His community spirit includes involvement with local and national civic groups. He has played leading roles in his local universities theater group including the musicals, "The King and I" and "Fiddler on the Roof".For the past nine years he has played the part of Pilate in the very successful "SonRise Pagent" which has been seen by thousands.
Larry has recorded three albums and has performed major solo works with orchestra and chorus. He has sung for two General Conference Conventions in Atlanta and Indianapolis. Larry has made guest appearances on 3ABN-TV as well as "Purely Music" on KSBN-TV. In conjunction with Jimmy Rhodes he has developed a musical therapy program which he presents all over the country to retirement homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Happy and in love with Jesus describes Larry and his music. A soulful mixture of old favorites, hymns and contemporary songs such as "His Eye Is On The Sparrow"-"Who Am I"-"On Eagles Wings"-"No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus"-"Hallelujah Home At Last"-"How Great Thou Art"-"Not Too Far From Here"-"You Raise Me Up"--and many more.
