Awarded more Angel Awards from "Religion in Media" than any other gospel singing group, Heritage has been honored for outstanding achievement in the following areas: "Album of the Year," "Best Children's Album," "Vocal Group of the Year," "Best Christian Television Variety Show," "Best Music Video." For eleven years, Heritage Singers hosted and produced their own weekly cable television program that was also aired on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).

Max and Lucy Mace started Heritage Singers ministry in 1971 out of Portland, Oregon. At that time, they had no idea that they would still be going strong today - some 40 years later. Heritage has traveled to more than 60 foreign countries and every state in the USA. They have remained a self-supporting organization while recording more than 70 albums. They have also released numerous music videos highlighting praise gatherings and mission tours in countries such as Australia, Brazil, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Jamaica, and Tahiti.
